The Davies Gold Series range of Dermatomes are precision engineered instruments with a proven track record for quality and dependability. The Duplex Gold Series has a 73mm cutting width. The Davies Duplex and Simplex Gold Series Dermatome is designed for use with The Davies Dermatome TCM 3000 Electronic Dental Motor System manufactured by Nouvag AG Switzerland.

The Davies Dermatome was invented in 1960 by the late Dr D S Davies OBE MRCS (Eng), LRCP (Lond), BM BCH (Oxford), FRCS (Edin) and has since its inception been constantly updated and improved through experience and years of observation both in the field and in our workshops.

Salient Features:

  • The Depth of cut mechanism is protected in that the Guard Bar is inside the body.
  • The Adjusting Cam works directly against the Guard Bar providing positive control of depth.
  • The Blade Carrier has a robust design with a large bearing surface fitted with hardened blade locating studs.
  • General Practitioners may use the Davies Dermatome in the treatment of Varicose Ulcers under local anesthetic
  • It is Recommended that only the Davies" Feather Blade" which is manufactured in Japan be used to ensure accurate and consistent cutting.
  • We have re- introduced the Davies Gold Series Simplex Dermatome with a 48mm Cutting Width which is now available.
